My Story
My Story
Although I am a painting artist, what makes me stand out and distinguishes me from other artists is my signature style which I have named ‘WEBCAST” It not only beautifies my art piece but also imparts distinguished retribution to my creations. My WEBCAST technique has earned both national and international acclaim.
I would like to share a short story as to how my webcast style originated. In July 2018, while I was visiting the beautifully scenic city of Gangtok in Sikkim, which is particularly rainy during this time of the year, I was camera ready as I usually am while vacating. I am quite observant of my surroundings and don’t miss any opportunity of clicking pictures of interesting and peculiar views and creations of mother nature. Owing to my aptitude for clicking and capturing every interesting moment of travel in my camera, I, fortunately, ended up inventing my unique art style i.e. Webcast. Yes! I derived this new style of art owing to my instinct for deep observation of what nature has to offer. I was visiting a beautiful Buddhist Monastery in Gangtok and there had been a passing shower.
A small spider web, concealed under the railing in an open corridor suddenly caught my attention. There were few drops in the atmosphere and the tiny little web was drenched too in these dew drops as it sparkled in the distinctly dim afternoon. At that moment, I felt as if I am looking at the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Yes! It was just a small web home for one of the creations of Mother Nature, a spider. I clicked several pictures of that beautiful spider web as it dripped with tiny droplets of water. After reaching home from the wonderful vacation in the beautiful state of the North East, as I was going through the myriad of pictures I took on the trip, I realized how desperately I wanted to paint that web and bring it alive on my white canvas. In the process of converting that beautiful spider web into artwork, I developed this amazing technique of doing a webcast, I named after the spider’s web. Since then, I have used the Webcast technique in most of my paintings and it has been evolving each day into miraculously new shapes and dimensions imparting uniqueness and originality to my artwork which is earning recognition in the world of art.
